Where can I get tickets?
Buy ONLINE to avoid disappointment. You don’t need to print your tickets, we can scan the QR code from your phone. Tickets will be available on the gate, but the price does go up by £5 for each ticket type. When can I get tickets? Online ticket sales stop at 11.30pm on Thursday 3rd August. What is the line up? Bands - #DUCKFEST23 What are the times for Duckfest? Midday on Friday 4th August & 10am on Saturday 5th August Music both nights until midnight. Both evenings finish at midnight and you can take your time on Sunday to pack up and leave. As long as you have left by no later than 4pm on Sunday 5th August. Where is Duckfest and how can I get there? Transport – there is a 17 seater minibus running continuously from Top O’ Town car park in Dorchester to and from the festival from midday on Friday and 10am on Saturday. It leaves when full (ish). The Festival site is at HINTOCK FARM, CHARMINSTER, DORCHESTER, DORSET, DT2 7SG. DuckFest is approximately a 2 mile walk from the centre of Dorchester. And only 2.3 miles from Dorchester South Station. You can cycle to DuckFest, in fact we promote any green method of travelling. There are plenty of fences and railings to securely lock your bike to over the duration of the weekend. But please bring your own padlocks, as bikes are not allowed into the arena. Can I park at Duckfest? Parking - car park is literally 1 minutes walk to the camping area and the festival arena. If you are travelling locally please use the minibus service provided from the top o town car park. Parking is limited at the site and based on a first come/first serve basis. So please don’t be disappointed if you turn up and there are no available spaces. What is the deal with camping? Camping is allowed for the whole weekend only - tents only. NO CAMPERVANS / NO CARAVANS / NO MOTORHOMES NO SLEEPING IN CAR PARK ALLOWED This is due to fire regulations - sorry! Please buy your camping tickets when you purchase your tickets. Please note - 1 tent ticket is required per tent, regardless of how many people are sleeping in the tent. Toilets are provided, but no shower facilities are available this year. We are still working on that. The camping area will be open to the public from 11am on Friday 4th August. Camping pitches are also first come/first serve so if you fancy a great pitch closest to the bar tent, get there early! No electrical hook ups are provided. No Fires. No BBQ’s. No Pets. Alcohol allowed in your tent. What is there to eat? There will be lots of vendors at the festival - TBC. All Vendors take cash or card. What is on offer for children? Face Painting and Hair wraps by Katie Mad 4 Animals (Sat 12-3pm) Bouncy Castles I would like to help volunteer, what can I do? If you are interested in Volunteering, please contact Becky on 07989 624554. Can I charge my phone? We do not have any provisions in place to charge your mobile phones. So please bring a portable charger if you think it wont last the weekend. Will my photo be taken? We will have a photographer on site, photographing the festival in general for use on our social media pages. If you do not want to be photographed then please contact Sam on 07956 868697 and special arrangements can be made. Will I get signal on my phone? Phone signal is available on the site for all major phone networks. Sometimes the data signal can be a bit patchy. But its usually strong in the majority of areas. Is there seating? DuckFest is providing 200 straw bales to be used as seating. We only ask for a little respect as these have been donated by a local, Farmer Drake! Feel free to move them around and make your own seating arrangements but take care as they are heavy and could fall apart if handled incorrectly. Where can I smoke onsite? No smoking is allowed in any undercover area or marquee of the site. Please note the straw bales are a flammable material. Stainless Steel buckets filled with sand will be located throughout the site for cigarette butts. What happens if I find a lost child? Double check the bouncy castle! Find a Marshall wearing a high vis vest. A notice will be made on the main stage sound system and the Marshalls will assist in locating the lost child. Will there be cash machines? Cash machines are not available on the site. But all vendors will be taking card payments. Can I bring my own alcohol? You can have alcohol in your tent but not in the festival arena. There are bars and refreshments on site. Can I bring my dog, cat, bird, other loving pet? Dogs – there are no dogs allowed unless they are assistance dogs. No Pets allowed! Is Duckfest accessible? Yes, and accessible toilets have been provided. The entrance is slightly sloped, so please be aware when entering the arena. A Marshall can assist navigating the entrance ramp if required. I have lost something whilst at the festival what do I do? If you noticed something was missing whilst still at the festival, please let a Marshall know and we will make a note of what has gone missing. At the end of the festival, all lost and found items are kept and listed on social media for collection etc. Will there be medical care onsite? We have specialist first aid care on site during our opening hours. What is the drugs policy? We have a ZERO tolerance policy for drugs. Our on-site Security will be informed of any drug use and they may contact the police at their discretion. How old do I have to be to come to DuckFest? Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. But all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 5 have free entry. Can I get a refund on my ticket? Yes, please contact us through the Eventbrite webpage where you purchased the tickets. |
